Meet Talia
Talia Hastie has over 40 years of experience in marketing, development, and public relations. She has worked for companies such as the Washington State Apple Commission, the Olympic Fur Breeders Association, and The Bon Marche’; and spent almost 20 years at Evergreen Christian School in Olympia, Washington. She has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in her career and enjoys the opportunity to connect, empower, and mentor people she comes into contact with. For fun, she has also spent over 40 years doing print, television, and radio spots in the Portland and Seattle areas. Notable clients include TIAA CREFF, Princess Cruise Lines, Westfield Shopping Mall, Fred Meyer, Hewlett-Packard, Macy’s, and Nordstrom.
In the Community
As a former Miss Washington who competed at the 1988 Miss America pageant, she has judged, performed, and emceed several local and state pageants as well as other local and state events. She currently serves as vice chair for the Foundation Board of Trustees at Northwest University, board member at C3 Leaders, Washington Scholarship Foundation and Life Center Ministries in Tacoma, Washington.
The Hastie Family
Talia has been married to Ronald Hastie Jr. for over 33 years. Ron and Talia have two sons, Ronnie and Cole. Ronnie earned his MBA, and Cole graduated with his Marketing degree, both from Northwest University. Both sons are married with two beautiful children, and all of them call Olympia home. The family sings together, works together, and volunteers together.
